LOS40VR is a virtual reality App created to surprise fans of bands and lovers of music and virtual reality. For the first time viewers will be near their favorite musicians and will live exciting immersive experiences next to them.
LOS40VR is a project of virtual reality in LOS40 available exclusively to virtual reality goggles Samsung VR Gear and that has been produced and developed by two studies specialized in virtual reality: Iralta VR and EstudioFuture.
Both companies were virtual reality pioneers in Spain and in this project they have joined their experience in 360-3D video content creation and immersive and interactive apps development to create a reference App for all music lovers. Both companies share synergies, projects and office in Madrid, developing virtual reality works for all major platforms and customer experiences.
LOS40VR offers a huge variety of contents through an immersive and interactive 3D menu that places us in the backstage of a concert of LOS40 where the user can choose to live a virtual reality experience among a range of artists such as: Beatriz Luengo, DVICIO, Abraham Mateo and Tony Aguilar, Ana Mena, Adexe&NAU, Orishas, Danny Romero…
The CGI 3D-360 scenario is completely immersive. We can find a number of interactive objects there to access to all the experiences or to get the extra content in a completely intuitive way.
Each experience give us the opportunity to discover the way our favorites artists live, create and dream. Most of the videos have been directed by the Urbina brothers. Ángel and César have taken turns, working together to get the most of this new way of telling stories.
The viewer participates actively in the experience by choosing the artists or building its own narrative line in the history (by selecting options that appears in an interactive way).
The experiences have been shot in different scenarios, using 360-3D technology. The depth that stereoscopic image offers, makes us feel so close to the artists you can almost feel them.
Ramon Verdugo, our Director Of Photography, has worked with Kandao Obsidian Camera because of its versatility and the high quality it offers in 6K 360-3D format.
360-3D image post-production has been a complex task. We have used Mistika VR software to make the stitching. This software allowed us to achieve a smooth and comfortable stereoscopic feeling.
The experiences audio is ambisonic, which gives us a total immersive feeling (by positioning the sound in the space).
The app, developed by Estudiofuture, has all the latest advances in virtual reality 360º video such as:
– Ambisonic Sound
– The possibility of downloading or streaming the contents without loss of video or sound quality
– Interactive content
– Menus Integrated into advanced 3D environments
– Optimization work focused on achieving the maximum performance of the device, avoiding warming or lengthening the time of use of the app
In addition to the main menu, there is a second immersive room where we can find the recreation of a stage of LOS40. In this scenario we can see a virtual 2D screen where all the extra content from the shootings and the “making of” of all the pieces is projected.
The app is exclusively available for Samsung Gear VR headset. You can download it in Oculus app store and it is compatible with Samsung Galaxy S6, S7, S8, S9, Note8 and Note9 models..
